“The confession letter” of the Hanau assassin and the unexplained aspects of the crime
On the one hand, this talk will present the content of the confession letter and critically reflect on its societal context. On the other hand, biographical and social references will be made that reveal the far-right, antimuslim racist and antisemitic views of the Hanau assassin.
“The survivors of far-right terror”
This lecture is about those affected, about the survivors of far-right terror in Germany and their perspectives. The following questions are relevant: How did they perceive the day of the attack? What did they expect from the responsible authorities (police, court, state, etc.)? How were they treated? What does it mean to have a permanent crisis biography?
The length and form of the presentations (classic lecture followed by a discussion or workshop format) is to be agreed depending on the needs, audience and context.
